What is Kidz Klub?

Kidz Klub is an interactive, action packed event that provides a safe place for 7-11 year olds to come on a Saturday Morning to have fun and learn about life. There are Kidz Klubs in most towns and cities please visit www.kidzklub.biz/network/index.html to find one near you.

How much is Kidz Klub?

It’s completely free. Kidz Klub is financed by Kings Church Hastings to resource our local community. For more information about the church visit www.kingshastings.org

Is Kidz Klub safe?

Kidz Klub puts the highest priority on child protection and health and safety. All of our volunteer team have been approved by our Child Protection Co-ordinator ,the Church leaders and a Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check has been completed. All team members have received training so our Child Protection Policy is adhered to. A copy of this policy is available on request.

We have three rules at Kidz Klub that we expect every child to obey:

1. Whistle stops noise
2. Stay in your block (seat)
3. Respect the team

We ensure that a minimum of two qualified first aiders are present at every Saturday Kidz Klub event.

Who runs Kidz Klub?

Chris Beveridge, a fulltime children’s worker employed by Kings Church Hastings. Chris was a manager in the civil service. Chris is married to Anna. They have two children, Charlotte and Mark.

There are 70+ people on the team. At a Saturday Kidz klub we ensure there are a minimum of 32 adults present. This ensures we have an adult to child ratio of 1:8.

Newfrontiers, the organisation that Kings Church Hastings works with has a year project called Impact. Impact is very involved with planning and delivering Kidz Klub. If you would like more information about joining this team please contact: joinimpact@kingshastings.org\

Who can come to Kidz Klub?

Children have to be between the ages of 7 and 11 to attend. A consent form must be completed by the parent/guardian. This information is kept on our secure database in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Kidz Klub has a café area for parents/guardians, so you can watch the club as it happens.

What do we teach the kids?

Kidz Klub essentially is a very relevant Sunday School. We promote good citizenship, respect, and the Christian faith through pantomime, messy games, cool tunes and amazing stories. Please browse through this site to see what we present. An activity sheet is available every week from this website or delivered to your door by the Kidz Klub team.

Why do we visit?

Kidz Klub teams go out Wednesday, Thursday and Friday so that we can promote the Saturday event and encourage the children to complete the activity sheet. Visiting also allows the parent/guardian to get to know the team. Visiting puts names to faces and builds community.

Do you do anything else?

The Kidz Klub team are available for schools work and other community projects.
Many churches have already visited us to help with their own club.
There is also a regional meeting every six months for Kidz Klub leaders to share and build relationships.
